Danielle Frankel always had a natural penchant for the arts. Since the time she could walk, Danielle was a dancer and devoted herself to the art of ballet, gaining acceptance to the prestigious Miami City Ballet School. When she moved to Boston to study, she expanded her focus to all forms of art, while also obtaining a degree in accounting. While pursuing a Masters in Accounting, Danielle began working with Lisa designing for clients, and it became clear that she was the missing link in Lisa’s designs. Inevitably, they teamed up and the Phillips Frankel brand was born.

Lisa Frankel (then known as Lisa Phillips) began designing at an early age.  It was clear to all who knew Lisa that she had a very unique eye for fashion. Throughout her adolescence and young adulthood, Lisa constantly designed and redesigned anything that she could get her hands on, winning countless awards including a trip to New York City to meet Betsey Johnson. Following the birth of her daughter, Danielle, and their move to Miami, Florida, Lisa narrowed her focus to jewelry and what started as a childhood passion quickly grew into a thriving business, as Lisa was innundated with requests for her designs from both private clients and designers.
